Taryn Jones
Professor Taryn Jones is Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education) at Macquarie University, providing leadership in the development and implementation of strategies and programs to support the University’s education mission, including those that drive educational excellence, student success, graduate outcomes. She also oversees the Macquarie University College and Widening Participation.
Taryn is recognised as an educational leader within Macquarie University, with extensive expertise in course-based design and in educational regulatory requirements and standards, understanding both the requirements for academic excellence and good governance as well as working effectively and efficiently within the various university systems and operational models to drive improvements in agility and efficiency.
Most notably she led the development and implementation of the Curriculum Lifecycle Framework which has transformed Macquarie University’s approach to curriculum QAE&I.
